A new year - 2010 - sees GAP involved in a number of exciting projects.

Queensland Children's Hospital - Visual Art Curators

Global Art Projects is pleased to announce that it has been appointed visual art curators for the new Queensland Children's Hospital (Brisbane) redevelopment. This role will see GAP involved in developing new artwork commissions, artist projects and ongoing visual arts programming for the hospital.

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins

Currently on display at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins are a number of exhibitions organised by GAP. These include works by young RMIT fashion design graduate Tobi Clarke winner of the Craft Victoria/Sofitel Melbourne FRESH award in 2009, wall sculptures by Brisbane based artist Donna Marcus a previous artist-in-residence at the hotel, and installation works as part of Experimenta media arts festival 2010.

Urban Art activities

GAP is currently involved in two major urban art projects for Melbourne:

- an art and landscape design masterplan for the Kangan Batman Tafe / Fox Car Museum site in Docklands working with artist Fiona Hall and Kirsten Bauer and Erwin Taal of Aspect Studios.

- an integrated artwork extending over Main Street, Point Cook with artist Christine Eid and designer Stephen Banham.
