Two artists, Jacqueline Fraser and Peter Robinson were selected to represent New Zealand at the 49th Venice Biennale 2001.
Their exhibition for the New Zealand pavilion at St Apollonia, Bi-Polar, included two separate installations by these diverse artists.
Jacqueline Fraser created a delicate installation of wire, fabric and text "A demure portrait of the artist strip searched.
Peter Robinson's "Divine Comedy" mixed wall painting and large sculpture objects.
